How the free scan works

No sign-up and nothing to install. We look at your website from the outside, the way an attacker would, without touching your data.

  1. Enter your website

Type your address, for example yourcompany.com, and confirm that you own it or are authorised to test it.

  2. We check it safely

The scanner runs non-destructive checks on SSL, server settings, email records and publicly exposed files.

  3. Get your score and fixes

A score out of 100, the most serious problems first, and what to ask your developer or hosting provider to change.

Seven areas we inspect

Misconfigured SSL, outdated software, exposed files and weak email settings are behind most small-business website incidents. How the scanner works

SSL / HTTPS

Valid certificate, expiry date, old protocols and the HTTP to HTTPS redirect.

Security headers

Browser protections against clickjacking, script injection and data leaks.

Server and cookies

Risky HTTP methods, insecure cookies and server details shown to the world.

Email security

SPF, DMARC and DKIM records that stop fraudsters sending email in your name.

Domain and DNS

Name servers, CAA records and domain settings that protect your address.

Technology

WordPress, PHP, plugins and libraries running visible, outdated versions.

Exposed files

Backups, .env and .git files, directory listings and admin pages left open.

How we work

No inflated claims. Here is exactly what you can expect when you scan with us or hire us.

  • Non-destructive by design

The free scan makes ordinary web requests, like a browser. No password guessing, no exploits, no form submissions, and nothing on your website is changed.

  • Permission first

You confirm you are authorised before every scan. Manual testing starts only after the scope and testing window are agreed in writing.

  • Plain-English reports

Every finding says what we saw, why it matters to your business and what to change, so your developer can act on it the same day.

  • Careful with your data

Reports sit behind private links that search engines do not index. Contact details such as phone numbers are encrypted at rest, and every page is served over HTTPS. Privacy policy

  • Transparent pricing, secure payments

Prices are published in your currency before you buy. Payments are processed by Razorpay, so we never see or store your card details.

  • Open to scrutiny

Found a weakness in our own systems? We publish a responsible disclosure policy and a security.txt contact.

Common questions

Straight answers about the scan, your data and working with us.

Is the scan really free?

Yes. The scan, your score and the main findings are free. You pay only if you want the full Premium Report with evidence and fixes, a manual audit, or monitoring.

Can the scan harm or slow down my website?

No. It makes a small number of ordinary requests, similar to one visitor browsing a few pages. It never tries to log in, submit forms or exploit anything.

Can I scan someone else's website?

Only with their permission. You must confirm that you own the website or are authorised to test it. Testing systems without permission can be an offence in most countries, for example under India's Information Technology Act, 2000, the UK Computer Misuse Act 1990 and the US Computer Fraud and Abuse Act.

My score is low. Has my website been hacked?

Not necessarily. A low score means there are weaknesses that make an attack easier. Most fixes are settings your developer or hosting provider can change quickly. If you see strange redirects, spam pages or Google warnings, contact us for malware removal.

Does a good score mean my website cannot be hacked?

No security check can promise that. Our automated scan looks at what is visible from outside. Login areas, payment flows and custom code need a manual security audit.

Do you work with businesses outside India?

Yes. We work remotely with businesses in the UAE, the US, the UK and Canada as well as India. Prices are shown in your local currency, and calls are scheduled to suit your time zone. See the pages for the UAE, US, UK and Canada.

Who will fix the problems?

Usually your web developer or hosting provider. Each finding explains what to change. If you don't have anyone, our team can do it for you as part of an audit or WordPress hardening service.
